A local pub brought back to life

Street Food Sundays transforms The Hart’s pub and covered courtyard in Headless Cross, Redditch, into a mini-festival of independent street food traders, vinyl DJs, live music and sweet treats. A New Chapter for an Old Local
Before it became The Hart, this pub was known as the White Hart — a name that generations of local residents may remember. Its place on Evesham Road connects it to the changing story of Headless Cross, a community with its own rich history and identity.
In October 2022, following refurbishment, the pub reopened as The Hart. It marked a new chapter for a familiar local venue, with the opportunity to bring fresh energy into the building while retaining what matters most about a great neighbourhood pub: a place to meet, catch up and feel at home.
Our vision is to keep that spirit alive. We're creating a pub that feels connected to its surroundings, celebrates the people who walk through its doors and gives the next generation of memories somewhere to begin.
We're proud of the history behind the name, but we're just as excited about the story we're creating together today.
